Go to Settings > Network & internet.
Tap on VPN.
Toggle off VPN.
ensure the Smart Family app is installed on the parent device.
sign in to the app using a My Verizon user ID or mobile number that has Account Owner or Manager access privileges.
ensure the child device is powered off prior to adding or removing restrictions.
When setting up the Smart Family Companion app on your childs phone, you let us establish a VPN profile on that phone through which all internetrelated activity passes. We use the VPN connection to provide you with these Smart Family features: content filters, time restrictions, and web and app activity monitoring.
Unlock the Android Kid device and open the Settings app.
Scroll to the bottom of the settings list and tap Developer Options.
Move the slider to OFF.
Tap the Settings icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
Tap Account details.
Tap Cancel subscription.
Follow the onscreen instructions to cancel your subscription.
If you no longer want to view your child's web and app activity or screen time, you can uninstall the Smart Family Companion app from your child's phone.
From your device, tap. Verizon Smart Locator Hub. . If presented with the PIN screen, enter your PIN.
Tap the. Menu icon. lowerright.
From the Help section, tap one of the following: Tap. Turn off guide. when enabled. Tap. Turn on guide. when disabled.
