Can you use a VPN with Ethernet? Yes, VPNs can be used through any type of Internet connection, be it ethernet cable, Wi-Fi, hotspot Wi-Fi, etc.
Go to Settings > Network and Internet > Change adapter Options. Right-click on the new Adapter that appears after connecting to our VPN through the app and select Properties. Under the Sharing tab, check the box for Allow other network users to connect through this computer's internet connection.
To bridge two VPN tunnels, each encrypted tunnel must have its own encryption endpoint. Then the unencrypted data can be switched, routed or bridged between those two endpoints. VPN encrypted tunnels can be routed, but there is no ability to inject or read data as it is all encapsulated.
Unfortunately, you cannot share a VPN connection over an Android hotspot unless you possess advanced technical knowledge or a “rooted” device.
Navigate to TAP adapters settings.
Configure the VPN adapter.
Connect to the VPN.
Share the VPN connection.
