To map a network drive from the remote client workstation: On the remote client workstation, start Windows Explorer. On the Tools menu, click Map Network Drive. In the Drive list, select the drive to which you want to map the location of the code server.
In the search box in the Windows taskbar, enter \\ followed by the IP address of the computer with the shares you want to access for example \\192.168. 10.20 and press Enter.
If you want to configure a folder as a network drive, rightclick the folder and select "Map network drive..." from the context menu.
Connect to Split Tunnel or Full Tunnel VPN if off campus.
Click the Start menu.
Click File Explorer.
Click This PC in the left side shortcut menu.
Click Computer > Map network drive > Map network drive to enter Mapping wizard.
Confirm drive letter to use next available shows up by default.
Make sure youre connected to a VPN server.
Turn on Network Discovery on your computer.
Open the Windows 10 File Explorer Win key + E.
Go to This PC, select the Computer tab, and press Map Network Drive.
Set Drive to a preferred drive letter that you will use to access the shared location.
