Open the Cisco AnyConnect app.

Enter your Andrew userID and password.
VPN can use any port in contrast to RDP, which uses port 3389. If you decide to use RDP from your office computer, you may find that port 3389 is blocked by the administrator and RDP doesn't work. This is common situation for corporate networks, so you won't be able to use standard RDP client.
Use Remote Desktop to connect to the PC you set up: On your local Windows PC: In the search box on the taskbar, type Remote Desktop Connection, and then select Remote Desktop Connection. In Remote Desktop Connection, type the name of the PC you want to connect to from Step 1, and then select Connect.
Go to the Cisco Anyconnect VPN program, enter your HSPH PIN password, and click accept. 2. Go to “Remote Desktop”, your IP address should already be there from the initial setup, click connect. You should be taken to your “office” desktop, maybe to your login page.
