Once you have logged in to your account, activating NordVPN is easy. Go to the NordVPN extension on your browser and click the Quick Connect button. You will be connected to the best server available. If you need a precise region, click the Connect to a specific country button, and choose the location. The NordVPN extension for Firefox offers additional privacy tools that you may find handy. It — a protocol which may leak your IP — by default. Additionally, you can enable the CyberSec feature — it blocks ads and protects you from entering dangerous websites. You can find both in the settings panel of the extension.
Open Mozilla VPN on your computer.
Sign in with your Firefox Account (only required the first time).
Click the switch to turn it on/off.
Optionally, choose a server location from the Connection menu.
The NordVPN extension for Firefox connects you to a virtual private network, rerouting and encrypting your browser's traffic through a remote server. The add-on also hides your IP in the process, so you can browse privately. One of our VPN's additional features blocks WebRTC, ensuring that your data is protected from potential leaks.
Keep in mind that the add-on only protects online traffic going through your Firefox browser — anything else you do on your device will not be encrypted. To shield all of your other online activities, download our native VPN apps for Windows, Android, iOS, or other popular operating systems — they come free with your NordVPN account.
